Thanksgiving Thoughts

It seems as though it was only a blink of an eye ago that I was wishing you Happy Thanksgiving at this time last year. Time flies and I have have so much more appreciation of everything in my life. The list of people places and things that I am grateful for grows longer each year.

With that in mind I wish to thank you all for being loyal customers. It is your patronage that enables all 16 of our employees and their families to have a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs and food on their tables.

That is a really big deal and we appreciate it more than I can ever say. We have so many customers that have been with us for so many years. Thank you. So many of you have referred your families, friends and neighbors that have enabled our company to grow to its current size.

I now mention the word grateful. To me it is such a strong expressive meaningful word. (Grateful definition: warmly or deeply appreciative of kindness or benefits received; thankful)  

We are truly grateful for every customer that comes into our shop.

Our hopes are that you have a awesome Thanksgiving weekend. Whether you're staying home or you're traveling across town or across the country may your journey be a safe one filled with much joy and laughter. Hug all your friends or loved one’s and let them know you are grateful for these folks being in your life.

The shop is run by General Manager Kenny Hancock who has been a ToyoTechs employee for 20 years. Kenny was the lead Technician at the main shop before moving over to AHR 5 years ago.

We Love Surprising Our Customers With Good News

We had a customer come in last week named Robin who brought her car in for new brakes. She thought new brakes were needed because the brakes squealed at times. Upon inspection the front brake had 50% of the pad left and the rear had 60% left. We checked everything thoroughly. All the brakes needed at the time was to have grease put on the back of the pads. Robin was so happy with her repair bill.

The reason I bring this up is so often we have customers come in for repairs they think are needed and we surprise them with a smaller bill than expected. We have built our business by treating people right. You bring us a “must have done immediately” list from the local dealer and usually only a few of the things need to be now. More often than not you can just have some of the suggested repairs done now and wait longer on the other issues.

We all know that car repairs can be a nuisance and a possible costly one at that. We will always try to make your car repair as painless and as least costly as possible. WE WILL ALWAYS TELL YOU WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW FOR YOUR SAFETY AND WHAT CAN WAIT.

We do suggest that you keep up with regular scheduled maintenance. By doing so your vehicle will run better, last longer and keep it’s value higher. (If you go to buy a used car do you buy the car with no maintenance records or do you buy the vehicle with all the maintenance records?)
